Welcome to SUSTAIN

SUSTAIN is a cooperation between the HTW Berlin and the German University in Cairo (GUC). It is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It is also a project within the German-Egyptian Progress Partnership.

As a member of the United Nations, Egypt has committed itself to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In line with these goals, the SUSTAIN project aims to establish sustainable structures, education and qualification opportunities on the subject of resource efficiency and sustainable production at the GUC.

SUSTAIN encourages the formation of a transdisciplinary network of industry, business and science. In addition, the project partners are developing a master program at the GUC to promote young academics in a practice-oriented context.
